// Personally

I’m a seasoned musician and songwriter with over 20 years of experience; which is code for “I am old”. I have performed in several different countries and have worked with numerous Grammy and Juno Award winning musicians in the UK, US and Canada. After taking an extended period of time to focus on my personal and professional development, this past year I’ve been hard at work in the studio and will be releasing a full length album in 2024. In my personal life, I treasure moments with my partner and three teenaged children.

Lately, I’ve embraced rock climbing as a passion, dedicating as much time as I can to the climbing gym and bouldering at Niagara Glen. I also continue my lifelong obsession with soccer and my beloved Manchester United.

// Why Therapy?

My path wasn’t a straight line.

My path towards becoming a Psychotherapist could be conceptualized as meandering. I began with Coaching and Counselling in the early 2000’s as a part of my connection to faith based organizations.

After more than fifteen years of meeting with people informally, my partner pointed out that these conversations were my favourite part of every day.

I started my Master’s in Clinical Counselling.

With my partner’s support, I was finally able to pursue this lifelong passion to help people improve the quality of their lives and started my Masters in Clinical Counselling in 2017.

I deeply value helping others find safety and connection.

Since then I’ve continued to learn and grow in this field, with a particular emphasis on relationships, emotional regulation, attachment and processing trauma. I have a deep value for helping others experience safety and connection in their daily lives.
